PLATIN Project kicked off.

ATMOSPHERE kicked off PLATIN project on May 2019. This R&D project aims to expand PLANET services, which have been operated since 2012. PLANET solution is now operational on several aircraft in Flight Test and Scientific communities. This includes airplanes ATR42, Falcon20, Cessna Caravan, Gulfstream G550, Boeing 757, Airbus A340, A350, A321, Beluga XL, as well as helicopters, balloons and UAVs.
January 2012 : new horizons for PLANET

A new phase of PLANET project has been awarded by ESA to an international consortium led by ATMOSPHERE. The objective of the project is to leverage ATMOSPHERE solution towards commercial aviation. To achieve this goal, ATMOSPHERE partenered with TriaGnoSys GmbH, a recognised provider of in-flight connectivity solutions. In addition, Meteo France and DLR will provide innovative nowcast products for the pilot phase of the project, that will bring high visibility on the benefits of PLANET solution.
