June 2011 : ATMOSPHERE joins IAGOS programme

METEO FRANCE has selected ATMOSPHERE to develop the Real Time Transfer Unit (RTTU) for IAGOS programme (In-service Aircraft for a Global Observing System). The RTTU is a component of the on-board IAGOS set installed on AIRBUS A340 for operational atmosphere chemistry parameters measurements. The RTTU enables to transfer in-situ data from world-wide locations via satellite communication means. ATMOSPHERE will be responsible for the development and environmental qualification of the RTTU, and the end-to-end system testing of the first unit with Lufthansa and EUMETNET E-AMDAR infrastructure.

September 2010 : ESA-PLANET project is on!

In the beginning of September, ATMOSPHERE successfully led the PLANET negociation meeting at ESA in Noorwijk, Netherlands.

A new branch of ATMOSPHERE opened in Germany!

10th June : Toulouse Space Show '10

ATMOSPHERE is attending the Toulouse Space Show '10 to present the WXXM standard. On the partner's square, the WXXM client tackling the particular use case of volcanic ash will be shown. This client has been developed within the framework of OGC® OWS-7 TestBed.

26/27th April : COMET Work-Shop

The COMET Study Workshop organised at AIRBUS on the 26/27th gather an international panel of experts, with the objective to validate the proposed AIRBUS concept for standard implementation of on-board Meteo Data Collection and Transmission.
