Icing is Back ! Good time for A350 Flight Test

New A350-1000 Icing Certification campaign has been kicked-off with a first successful test flight on the 29th of November. ATMOSPHERE, together with icing specialist LEA (http://icingweather.com), supports AIRBUS flight test teams for the experimentation. PLANET system has been configured to upload in real time weather situation for several areas (satellite imagery, lightning strikes, convection). Over Europe a specific weather data package has been integrated by METEO FRANCE. Over the USA, PLANET uses data from NOAA. PLANET also downlinks in-situ measurement data (Nephelometer). With this information, LEA previsionnist can optimally assist flight crew, using live chat and geomarkers features.
